HOME SITE UNDER CONSTRUCTION
Mountainwise is operated by James Hewson. Since 1994 James has worked in the area of outdoor education and is highly trained and fully qualified in a broad range of activities. The mountainwise philosophy is to combine an environmental message in a fun and exciting context.
On this site you can access our documentation and check out our achievements.
Mountainwise can deliver the following things:
- Outdoor adventure activity residentials for youth groups and adults.
- Duke of Edinburgh expeditions – bronze, silver and gold level.
- REC first aid courses to suit many different work environments.
- NGB qualifications: ML summer (mountain walking) and SPA (climbing).
- Team building and sponsored abseils for businesses.
- We also offer bespoke outdoor adventure experiences for individuals or groups including any of the following activities: rock climbing, ice climbing, abseiling, mountain activities including hill walking and mountaineering, orienteering, sea kayaking, coasteering, open canoeing, improvised rafting, sea level traversing or gorge scrambling.
